Today is my 7th wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe that I have been planning weddings for 15 years.
I have arranged for Cynthia's Manhattan Limousines to take my husband on a private Hill Country wine tour in a sedan later this month, but how do I "give" that to him? I called the guys at Personal Wine, and I had them design 2 labels for a bottle of wine I fell in love with when our team did a wine tasting with them recently.
Mind you, they did not charge me for designing the labels, only for the wine. (If I chose to have the bottles etched with a line drawing, that would be $10 per bottle.)
The first label is a traditional Bordeaux-style label with our current home. It says "Established in 2002." If you are doing the math, that is 9 years. We met and started dating 9 years ago. Personal Wine will keep this label on file for my future use.
The second label has a faint number 7 in the background. In the foreground, our wedding rings contain the footprints of our three children from 2 pregnancies.
Now, I have the perfect way to toast my husband at dinner tonight and tell him about our date in a couple of weeks.
